JOSÉ RAIMUNDO LÓPEZ

José is a founding partner of Red del Vino (6th Region). He moved to Cunaco and together with his wife, Eva, two sons and three daughters, he worked “the farm” which included corn and wheat. They were assigned 13.2 hectares as part of the Agrarian Land Reform process.

He devoted himself mainly to the cultivation of vegetable crops including potatoes, beans and corn which he knew well and then eventually producing blueberries. Later he planted a vineyard and dedicated himself to export table grapes for 20 years. Together with the neighbors, they planted additional vineyards, which they still operate today.

José grows and maintains the production of Chardonnay grapes.
