JUAN CASTRO GAETE

Juan is the last of the Castro Gaete brothers and is a founding partner of Red del Vino (6th region).

He studied at the Liceo Industrial de San Fernando graduating as Industrial Maintenance Technician.

He began by working in some mechanical workshops in the area, but with the help of his brothers he settled with his own factory, maintaining their stainless steel wine container tanks for the vineyards in the area, and then began to manufacture them.

Juan and his wife, Teresa have a daughter and son.

On December 4, 1998, together with his brothers, he started the Sociedad Agrícola y Comercial Cal y Canto Ltda. Currently they produce Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and sell their wine under the label “Arado” .
